Steven F. Stanowicz, M.D., Inc.

Dr. Stanowicz graduated from Rutgers University and State University of New York Medical School. He completed his internship at UCI in Internal Medicine and a Dermatology residency at UCLA where he was Chief Resident. He has been a Clinical Associate Professor at UCI for over 20 years teaching dermatologic surgery. His medical interests lie in surgical dermatology, especially treatment of skin cancer. Dr. Stanowicz is Board certified in Dermatology, a member of the American College of MOHS Micrographic Surgery and Cutaneous Oncology. He is also a member of the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery and the American Academy of Dermatology. Dr. Stanowicz and his wife, Joy, have five adult children.

Sarah Stanowicz, M.D., Inc.

Dr. Stanowicz graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder and the State University of New York Medical School. She completed her internship and residency in Internal Medicine at the State University of New York in Syracuse. Dr. Stanowicz is board certified in Internal Medicine, however her medical interests lie solely in Dermatology specializing in diseases of the skin, hair and nails. She is a clinical associate on staff at St. Joseph Medical Hospital. Dr. Sarah Stanowicz is the youngest of Dr. Steven Stanowicz’s children.

Micheal B. Mortazie, D.O.

Dr. Mortazie graduated from Emory University. He completed his Dermatology residency at Michigan State University. Afterwards, he completed a fellowship in MOHS micrographic surgery and dermatologic oncology with one of the world’s experts in dermatologic surgery Dr. Richard Bennett. Dr Mortazie is board certified in Dermatology and a member of the American College of Mohs Surgery. His interests lie in medical, cosmetic and surgical dermatology, including the detection and treatment of skin cancer, and challenging dermatology cases such as eczema, psoriasis, acne and hair loss. He has served on the American Academy of Dermatology’s Enduring Materials subcommittee. Dr. Mortazie is published widely in dermatologic oncology and surgical journals and has presented at professional meetings throughout the country.

Dr. Michael Mortazie

Khasha Touloei, D.O.

Dr. Touloei grew up in Sydney, Australia. He graduated from University of Washington with a degree in Biochemistry. He also obtained a Masters Degree in Biological Sciences at Drexel University. He then went to Western University of Health Sciences to obtain his medical degree. Dr. Touloei completed his Dermatology residency at Broward Health and also completed rotations at the University of Miami where he trained with dermatology world renowned experts Dr. Francisco Kerdel and Dr. Carlos Noussari.

Dr. Touloei is published widely in dermatologic literature. His medical interests lie in surgical dermatology, especially treatment of skin cancer and general dermatology including acne, eczema, psoriasis and complicated rashes. Dr. Touloei is Board certified in Dermatology, a member of the American Osteopathic College of Dermatology. He is married with two children.

Jessica Hsu, M.D.

Dr. Jessica Hsu is a board-certified dermatologist who specializes in medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology. She enjoys treating patients of all ages, and has extensive experience managing multiple skin conditions including dermatitis, acne, eczema, psoriasis, and rosacea. She takes a special interest in the prevention, early detection, and treatment of skin cancer.

Dr. Hsu completed her undergraduate degree in Biology at University of California, San Diego, where she graduated with the highest honors of summa cum laude. She went on to receive her medical degree at the University of California, San Diego School of Medicine, as a member of their prestigious Medical Scholars program, and received a training grant for clinical research from the National Institute of Health. She then completed her dermatology residency at Rush University in Chicago, serving as Chief Resident during her final year there. She has authored numerous publications in major peer-reviewed journals, including in the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology, and has presented at multiple national dermatology conferences.

Born and raised in Southern California, Dr. Hsu has practiced for many years in the Orange County area, and is committed to helping each individual patient achieve their desired skin-care goals. She is married with two children and two cats.

Hui-Kyung Tina Kim, M.D.

Dr. Kim graduated magna cum laude with a degree in Biochemical Sciences from Harvard University. She attended medical school at Columbia College of Physicians and Surgeons and graduated with a Dean’s Letter recognition of “Outstanding,” awarded to the top 5% of the class. She also was invited to join the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society in medical school and continues to be a member. She completed her internship at New York Presbyterian-Columbia Medical Center and her dermatology residency at University of Illinois, Chicago, where she served as co-Chief Resident during her final year. Dr. Kim is board certified in dermatology and is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. Her interests lie in medical, cosmetic, and surgical dermatology.

Jonell Goldstein

Jonell Goldstein is one of our Medical Aestheticians. Jonell has trained with all of the physicians at our Orange Dermatology and Laser Center. She is a graduate of the Marinello School of Beauty and is licensed by the California Board of Cosmetology. Jonell is certified in the skill of medical-grade SkinCeuticals Peels. She was born and raised in the City of Orange, California and now resides with her husband Derek, in Mission Viejo.

Simone LaVigne

Meet Simone LaVigne our newest medical aesthetician. Simone comes to us with 20-plus years of experience in the skin care and cosmetic industry. She received her aesthetic license from Advanced Beauty College in Laguna Hills. Simone is also certified with the usage of SkinCeuticals medical grade peels, makeup artistry and Hydrafacials. Her passion is helping others look and feel their best!

Jill Shwam

Jill is a Registered Nurse who specializes in our micro-needling Morpheus treatments. She received her Bachelor of Science from Northern Arizona University, later returning to school for Nursing and received her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from Concordia University Irvine. She works at Mission Hospital in the Cardiac ICU and recently spent two years working in the COVID ICU. Wanting to expand her expertise into dermatology, she recently joined our cosmetic team as our Morpheus RN after extensive training.

Jill is married with 2 young children. She and Dr. Sarah Stanowicz have been close friends since first grade.
