RHA Dermal Fillers

Overview

RHA® fillers are a type of dermal filler made from hyaluronic acid (HA), a naturally occurring substance found in the skin. HA is a gel-like substance that helps to keep the skin hydrated and plump. As we age, our bodies produce less HA, which can lead to the development of wrinkles and folds. RHA fillers can be used to restore lost volume and smooth out wrinkles and folds.

There are four different types of RHA® fillers and the use of each depends on the specific treatment area:

RHA® fillers are injected into the skin with a small needle. The procedure is typically done in a doctor's office and takes about 30 minutes. Most people experience some bruising and swelling after the procedure, but these side effects usually go away within a few days.

RHA® fillers are a safe and effective way to improve the appearance of wrinkles and folds. They are FDA-approved and have been used by millions of people around the world.

Here are some of the specific benefits of RHA® fillers:

What should you expect from RHA® Filler Treatment?

An RHA® filler treatment is a minimally invasive procedure that can be used to improve the appearance of wrinkles, folds, and volume loss in the face. RHA® Filler is injected into the facial skin in small amounts until the desired result is achieved. This creates a more youthful appearance of the face. The procedure usually takes 15-30 minutes.

After the injection, your doctor may gently massage the area around your mouth to help smooth and distribute the gel evenly. They may also apply an ice pack to help decrease swelling and pain.

The amount of RHA® Redensity used depends on the depth of your wrinkles and your treatment goals. Your doctor will decide the right amount to be injected during the procedure.

In some cases, a touch-up treatment may be needed 2 to 4 weeks after the initial treatment to achieve the desired aesthetic outcome. Your doctor will decide how much RHA® Redensity is needed for the touchup treatment.

How many treatments do you need?

The number of RHA® treatments you need will depend on the severity of your wrinkles and folds. In most cases, one treatment is enough to see significant improvement. However, some people may need more than one treatment to achieve their desired results.

Your doctor will be able to assess your needs and recommend the number of treatments that are right for you. It is important to note that RHA® fillers are not a permanent solution. The results of the treatment will gradually fade over time, and you may need to have additional treatments in the future.
